Role: Founding Engineer, Lead Developer Timeframe: 2019 – 2023
Sizzy is a browser built specifically for web developers, offering integrated tools designed to streamline the development workflow compared to traditional browsers.
Contribution Summary
As a founding engineer, I was involved from the project’s launch in June 2019 through all product development phases. Beyond feature development and app maintenance, I built:
- Licensing backend system
- Customer portal
- Product landing page (design and copy)
- App updates server
- CI/CD deployment pipeline
In a bootstrapped environment, I contributed across multiple disciplines:
- Technical: Full-stack development and infrastructure
- Strategic: Business decisions and growth strategy
- Design & Research: UX research, design, and copywriting
- Operations: Data analytics and talent recruitment
